If you are sailing Royal Caribbean, you will take a right after exiting from the main road into the port. Once you exit, you will loop around to your right, before heading back south — the direction from which you originally came into the port. To know where to go next, you need an overview of the cruise terminals at Port Canaveral. While the port is large, each of the major cruise line has its own dedicated terminals. Located in Brevard County, midway down Florida’s East Coast, Port Canaveral Cruise Terminal is just 46 miles east of Orlando International Airport. The SR-528 toll road, also known as the Bee Line or Beachline Expressway, makes the journey quick and easy, taking motorists less than 45 minutes to go from city to coast.
Independent van and car services
There are a few ways to arrive at Port Canaveral via public transportation but none of them are attractive. Amtrak's Silver Service (New York-Washington, D.C.-Charleston-Savannah-Jacksonville) stops at the Auto Train Station in Sanford, Florida, about an hour from Port Canaveral. An UberX ride from MCO Airport to the port costs about $62. You're looking at about $83 from SFB and $119 from Daytona Beach airport.

At the cruise terminal, you'll find the Seaman Centre Port Canaveral supermarket. It's mainly designed for crew but you can get a toothbrush or snacks for your cabin. It's about a three-minute walk from Cruise Terminal 5 and seven minutes from Cruise Terminal 6. Note that CT8's 1,000-space parking garage is exclusively for Disney Cruise Line guests.

For season 2019, the cruise port reported a record berth booking with estimated 4,7+ million passengers. In December 2017, Carnival Cruise Lines announced the homeporting of Carnival Elation in 2019. Starting May 12, 2019, the ship operates year-round scheduled 4-5-day "long weekend" Bahamas cruises. The five-month effort will move approximately 1.34 million cubic yards of sand to replenish 3.5 miles of beach south of Port Canaveral. West Turning Basin has quay length ~600 m (2000 ft) and draft 13 m/43 ft - making it one of East Coast USA's deepest cargo berths without vessel air draft limits. In early November 2017, RCI-Royal Caribbean announced the company's decision to homeport here in 2019 the world's largest passenger vessel - Harmony of the Seas (max capacity 6687 passengers plus 2100 crew). An Express Lot (2702 Harborside Dr.) is within walking distance of Terminal 25 and Terminal 28. If you're coming from either airport with a taxi or rideshare, you'll want to assess your arrival and departure options ahead of time, as the most economical options require advance planning. To get to Disney’s port (Terminal #8), you will take a right after exiting from the main road into the port. Starting out, it helps to have an overview of the port before you get there. The port is located about 45 minutes due east of Orlando, on Cape Canaveral. There is only one road from Orlando to Cape Canaveral — Florida 528 (a toll road also know as the “Beachline”).
The Getaway will begin sailing from this terminal in April of 2023 and the Jade and Epic will join them in 2024. Port Canaveral Cruise Terminal is a mere 15 miles from Junction 205 on the I-95. This major interstate runs for almost 2000 miles from Miami in Southeast Florida to the Canadian border in Maine. If you’re driving to Port Canaveral for your cruise, you’ll probably drive part of the journey on one of the two highways mentioned above.
